Hello, blogging!

I hope this time my efforts pay off. After numerous failed attempts, I am making yet another attempt to have a blog of my own where I write and post consistently.

In my earlier attempts, I tried to do something along the lines of "pick up some interesting topic, and explain it". It did not work, and I usually left the articles I started writing midway. In this attempt, I am trying a slightly different approach: implement relatively small non-trivial projects based on interesting ideas or research literature, and explain the implementation. These aren't the only kind of posts I intend to write, but I am using them to get this really going this time.
